Trauma had a way of leaving deep scars, not just on mind but sometimes on body as well. Whether it arise from any disturbing event, painful past experience or accident, it always have a deep and long lasting impact on the person’s way of thinking, behaving and interacting with the world. According to researches, trauma leads to various mental health issues like- depression and anxiety as well as various physical health issues like- blood pressure and thyroid, etc. Moreover, Trauma makes it difficult for a person to move forward in life.

Along with several medicines people takes, that technique being free of cost can help in managing it! “Mindfulness” is an ancient practice, whose history dates back to several years ago, this practice rooted in awareness and acceptance has proven to be a powerful tool in managing various mental health issues including “Trauma” as well. Understanding Trauma
Trauma can be any disturbing event or experience in a person’s life which has impact on his/her capacity to think, behave and function in future. Trauma can manifest in various ways — flashbacks, panic attacks, emotional detachment, and even physical symptoms like headache or fatigue. While experiencing Trauma, a person’s brain perceives it as threat and triggers a “Flight- or Fight” response. Over the time this type of constant alertness leads to chronic stress and anxiety.
